At
its May 16, 2006, meeting, the State Budget and Control Board approved a
3.5 percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for eligible South Carolina
Retirement System (SCRS) and Police Officers Retirement System (PORS)
retirees and beneficiaries, and eligible Judges and Solicitors
Retirement System (JSRS) non-spousal beneficiaries effective July 1,
2006.
