Paperless Publications Environment
Beginning July 1, 2007, the South Carolina Retirement Systems will begin
moving toward a paperless publications environment. Almost all of our
publications can be easily accessed and viewed at
www.retirement.sc.gov/publications. Any publications not yet
available on this Web site will be made available shortly after the
beginning of the new fiscal year.
This move will allow the Retirement
Systems’ to better meet your needs and the needs of our members by
enabling faster and more frequent updates to information. It is not our
intention to ask employers to shoulder the cost of printing large
quantities of our publications, but rather to direct employees to our
Web site to access the information that they need. We hope to expand on
both the type and content of the information we provide via the Internet
as well.
Supply Requests (Form 8201)
Also beginning July 1, 2007, the South Carolina Retirement Systems will
only accept
Supply Requests (Forms 8201) from employers who do not have Internet
access. All of the forms and publications listed on the Supply Request
(Form 8201) are available at
www.retirement.sc.gov/forms.
If you are not already utilizing the
Retirement Systems’ Electronic Employer Services (EES), a secure,
Web-based tool available to covered employers,
contact
the Retirement Systems to learn how EES can facilitate the
completion of forms.
