An experience study of the South Carolina Retirement System (SCRS) and the Police Officers Retierement System (PORS) was conducted in the fall of 2011, by Gabriel Roeder Smith and Company.

Current Actuarial Valuations

South Carolina state law requires that each of the defined benefit plans administered by the South Carolina Retirement Systems undergo an annual actuarial valuation. These valuations are conducted by independent actuaries. Below are links to the current actuarial valuations for the plans.
