Other Employer Services
Retirement Systems' staff bi-annually conduct field education visits to employers outside of the Columbia area to offer information updates and any other assistance needed by employers to ensure that our employers are knowledgeable and proficient in SCRS/PORS matters. Employers within the Columbia regional area are visited on an as-needed basis. Retirement Systems' staff also attend employer-sponsored benefits fairs whenever possible to provide one-on-one contact with our members.

Training request surveys, which are completed annually by covered employers, provide employers an opportunity to tell us what training needs they will have in the upcoming year. This helps Retirement Systems' staff effectively and efficiently plan their work load to better serve all customers. The survey also gives employers a chance to tentatively set up training dates for the upcoming year.
