The South Carolina Retirement Systems publishes a variety of educational and informational materials, and offers an assortment of other learning opportunities for members and covered employers.

 

Educational and Informational Materials

Written materials are generally located on our Publications page and on our member, employer, and general News & Updates pages. In addition, you now can e-mail a request for a paper supply of available informational and educational materials.

 

Training Opportunities

Training seminars are held regionally, at the worksite, and/or at our Columbia office. A description of current training opportunities is below.

• Our Member (Employee) Training is designed to acquaint members with the benefits and value of their retirement plan.

• Our Employer Training series consists of seven distinct sessions designed to provide detailed operational overviews of the roles the employer plays in the administration of public employee benefits.

• Our Electronic Employer Services (EES) Training is an instructional program for employers learning how to use the Retirement Systems' electronic reporting system.
