This application allows you to enter information to obtain an UNOFFICIAL cost estimate of a Service Purchase. The accuracy of this estimate will depend on how closely the variables you choose match the actual numbers that would be used in an actual service purchase. This application does not include all Service Purchase options available to Retirement Systems members, but is designed as a tool to allow you to estimate the cost of some of the basic options.

This application is not a guarantee that you will be eligible to purchase any type of service credit. The amount and cost of any service you purchase will be determined according to the statutes and regulations of the State of South Carolina, as set forth in Title 9 of the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, and Article 9 of Chapter 19 of the South Carolina Code of Regulations.
