Advisory Board


Title 9, Chapter 2 of the South Carolina Code of Laws created the South Carolina Retirement and Pre-Retirement Advisory Board to advise the director of the South Carolina Retirement Systems and the director of the State Budget and Control Board's Office of Human Resources on matters relating to retirement and pre-retirement programs and policies.

The Board consists of eight members appointed by the State Budget and Control Board to represent the various segments of membership. Current Board appointees are listed below.
